S.A.D Trio is a progressive jazz/rock/fusion project band by the well known guitarist/song writer/singer Shafkat Ahmed Dipto from the band Aronno established in Dhaka,Bangladesh.
"PURANO SHEI DINER KOTHA", a very popular Rabindra Shangeet (songs written by Tagore) is also influenced by Auld Lang Syne, a Scots poem and set to the tune of a traditional folk song written by Robert Burns in 1788. S.A.D Trio has their own interpretation and improvisation of this melody.
