Launched in Europe in September 2010, the CT 200h isn't just Lexus' first compact car, it's the world's first full hybrid luxury compact car. Built in the award-winning 'Eco Factory' in Kyushu, Japan, this game-changing luxury compact offers a beautifully balanced and agile drive. It is powered by latest generation Lexus Hybrid Drive technology which seamlessly combines a 1.8-litre petrol engine with a high-output electric motor, an advanced compact battery and a sophisticated energy management system.
The most aerodynamically efficient car in its class, the CT 200h still accommodates five people plus two large suitcases (or two buggies) and, as an option on the SE-L Premier grade, features our breakthrough Pre-Crash Safety system, another category first, helping it achieve Euro NCAP's highest standard for safety. The ultimate in high-end car audio -- Mark Levinson -- provides a home-theatre experience on the SE-L Premier interior which features beautifully crafted bio-sourced materials.
