A lifeguard in Spring, Texas, is being hailed a hero after springing into action to save a young girl from drowning – and the entire act was caught on camera.Harris County WCID #110 Parks & Recreation shared the rescue footage from June 23 on their Facebook page, showing lifeguard Charlie Miller rushing in the water to save the girl. “The little girl went active immediately after water entry from the slide and Charlie took immediate action to pull her to safety,” the post said.The department said Miller had already been awarded “Lifeguard of the Week” and his actions only solidified the honor.
