Protesters stage Fourth of July demonstration outside Philadelphia ICE building

Instead of joining the rest of America for Independence Day celebrations, protesters in Philadelphia continued day three of their occupation outside the offices of Immigrations & Customs Enforcement to oppose the president's immigration policy. The video, taken by Chenjerai Kumanyika, shows protesters holding signs calling for the abolishment of ICE and chanting "No wall, build bridges!" According to local media, 29 people were arrested at the protest after clashes with police on Tuesday. Trump's immigration policy, responsible for the separation of thousands of children at the US-Mexico border, has prompted nation-wide protests in recent weeks.
