Dave Chisnall: Double 18 should have beaten Michael van Gerwen!

Dave Chisnall is still kicking himself after letting big leads to slide to allow PDC No 1 Michael van Gerwen to snatch a draw in Birmingham.

Chisnall fluffed 5-2 and 6-3 leads in the first-to-seven race at the Barclaycard Arena to allow the world champion to creep back in and take a point. He missed three attempts at double 18 for the match.

‘Chizzy’ has now gone five Premier League games without defeat and is still in with a shout of making the play-offs, with fixtures left against Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade.

He was deflated but optimistic as he talked to Tungsten Tales reporter Craig Birch, within minutes of the result on the big stage.
