Rare geological formation known as lava tree spotted in Hawaii

Rare footage of lava bubbling in the hollow of a tree in Hawaii.
The clip, filmed May 31, shows the hollowed-out tree stump filled will hot molten lava in a rare phenomenon known as a lava tree.
“This is considered a lava tree and there aren't many video examples of these active volcanic phenomena.
“The ground beneath this hole was still incredibly hot, with flames continuing to spout out of it well past the time when the active flow was visible.
“Though this is not a traditional standing lava tree, it is still considered as such,” writes the filmer.
