Twelve boys and their soccer coach were found alive on July 2 after being trapped in a cave in Thailand for nine days. This video shows the team being found in the Tham Luang Cave 200 meters from Pattaya beach, according to the post.Chiang Rai Governor Narongsak Osottanakorn confirmed at a news conference on July 2 that the soccer team had been found in the cave by naval special forces.Earlier that day, Osottanakorn said rescuers were 4900 – 5500 feet from the mouth of the cave where they believed the soccer team was trapped but the way ahead was blocked by a closed and narrow tunnel, Matichon reported. The Bangkok Post reported that the break in rainfall going into Sunday allowed the divers to search further into the network of tunnels and fissures, but said there were still no signs of the missing team as of July 1.The 13 people, 12 of whom were between the ages of 11 and 16, reportedly entered the cave after a practice on June 23, but monsoon rains flooded the area and blocked the exit.
