There are reports that we, as journalists, enjoy doing and then there are others that turn our stomachs to even cover. Today’s report is unfortunately the latter. However, it is necessary to never allow the topic to fall into the darkness for the lives of so many are at stake.
Child and Human Sex Trafficking and Cybersex Trafficking is rising to epidemic proportions. Why?…because technology is now cheap, efficient and accessible to more people than ever before. So now, in the most remote regions of our world, there is a depravity occurring that can be broadcast, on demand, to anyone sick enough to desire it.
The issue is occurring on the world’s stage, but our own country is not immune. Law enforcement and government agencies are fighting, arresting and prosecuting all involved…unfortunately the numbers are growing at a staggering pace. There are children’s lives at stake and the need for action on global level. Please do not allow the awareness on this issue to ever wane; there are innocent lives that need to be saved.
