A multi million Kina power project in the Hube LLG, of Finschhafen district in Morobe Province is awaiting funds to complete its final stage of feasibility studies before it is launched.
In a letter by PNG Power Ltd dated October 4 20-16 directed to landowner company Kuwec Q Power Ltd, PPL asked that a further feasibility study be completed before the actual development of the project.
Kuwec Q Power Ltd was asked to source funding through a Public Private Partnership; once secured they can apply for the Power Purchase Agreement with PNG Power.
