Paul Manafort Is Still Trying To Stop

A federal judge in Viriginia said Friday that he would not dismiss the charges against former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort. Less than one month from the trial, this was one of Manafort’s last hopes at dismissal. Jury selection in the federal district court in Alexandria is scheduled to start on July 25. Manafort did not attend Friday's hearing having waived his appearance. Ellis said he expected to keep the trial date in place, barring a personal need to reschedule.
