NCP chief Sharad Pawar has says that the Mahagathbandhan, a third front coalition of political parties is 'not practical' and will not be implemented. Pawar says that 'though many of his colleagues want it to happen', the Mahagathbandhan, will 'not materialise'.

शरद पवार ने कहा लोकसभा चुनाव में तीसरा मोर्चा या महागठबंधन व्‍यवहारिक नहीं | अगले साल होने वाले लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले बीजेपी और कांग्रेस से इतर तीसरा मोर्चा बनाने की कोशिशों को एनसीपी ने तगड़ा झटका दिया है। एनसीपी के अध्‍यक्ष और पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री शरद पवार ने कहा है कि तीसरा मोर्चा 'व्‍यवहारिक' नहीं है, इसलिए यह क्रियान्वित नहीं हो पाएगा।
