NBA DRAFT deep dive w/ Sam Vecenie & Chris Stone
  • 6 years ago
In this episode, I chat with good friend of the program Chris Stone about the NBA Finals briefly. Is this Warriors team the greatest team of all-time? I come up with a slightly different designation for it.

Then, we look at the NBA Draft through the prism of the NBA Finals. Given that the NBA is a copycat league, do we think there's a good chance that the rest of the league will look at the Warriors and Cavs rosters and decide that big men aren't nearly as valuable as they once were? Does that mean all of the big men should drop a bit on a draft board? Does that mean players like Derrick White and Jawun Evans are being undervalued?

We also get into the players at the highest levels of our boards, and chat about whether we'd rather have De'Aaron Fox or Dennis Smith, and who some of our favorites are outside of the top-10. Do we care about where people are working out and how often they do it? Finally, we explain how this international class in the draft looks like the worst that I can remember.
