The Ceiling is the Roof as Luke Maye sets the Final Four Field
  • 6 years ago
In this episode, I chat with Aaron Torres over at Fox Sports about the Final Four being set, as well as some coaching news. We start with the wild North Carolina win over Kentucky where Luke Maye became the stuff of legends in Chapel Hill. Also, we talk about how Roy Williams has done a great job coaching this team, and how remarkable their development has been throughout the season.

Then we move on to the rest of the Final Four discussion, where we chat about Oregon moving into the Final Four for the first time in 70-plus years, and then about South Carolina and Gonzaga's maiden voyages into college basketball's biggest stage. We also bust myths about the ridiculous "Gonzaga hasn't beaten anyone" narrative, and try to figure out whether or not South Carolina is just hot, or if they're actually markedly better offensively now.

Finally, we close on the coaching carousel, talking about Indiana hiring Archie Miller instead of Steve Alford. Then, we also chat quickly about Cal and Oklahoma State elevating assistants to the top job.
