In a potential NBA D-League first round playoff matchup, the Maine Red Claws allowed 63 points on 56 percent shooting in the first half against the Canton Charge, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ D-League affiliate, eventually falling by a final of 110-99.

On assignment from the Boston Celtics, point guard Demetrius Jackson and forward Jordan Mickey combined for 36 points against a Charge team that now sports the D-League’s fifth best record, and has won nine out of its last 10 games played.

With Boston Celtics analyst, announcer, and former player, Brian Scalabrine in attendance, a halftime show featuring a trampoline and Lucky the Celtics mascot, as well as a Dancing Bear on the sidelines, there was an extra air of energy in the arena.
