Washington is prepared to resume its suspended military drills with Seoul's forces,... if U.S.-North Korea ties do not take a turn for the better.
That's according to the acting U.S. Ambassador to South Korea.
Speaking at a forum on Jeju Island, Marc Knapper highlighted America's recent decision to halt major joint military drills was a goodwill gesture amid denuclearization talks with Pyongyang.
He said the decision can be reversed if satisfactory developments are not seen.
The diplomat added... for ties with the regime to improve,... the two sides must settle the issue of complete denuclearization,... and UNSC sanctions should continue in the meantime.
