Playing the dalit card, U.P CM Yogi Adityanath has demanded quota for dalits in minority run educational institutions like the Aligarh Muslim Univeristy in Aligarh and Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi. Yogi said that if institutions like Banaras Hindu University can give dalit quota then why not minority-run institutes like AMU and Jamia? He made this statement at a public meeting in Kannauj.
