NASA Delays James Webb Space Telescope Again

NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has been delayed yet again. Gizmodo reports NASA has moved the target launch from May 2020 to March 2021. The telescope has been plagued by delays and budget increases since its inception in 1996. An independent review in April 2018 found five kinds of problems, including human errors, “embedded” problems not identified during testing, lack of experience, excessive optimism, and the system complexity.
