Simba ans Ava live in a migrant camp. They fled their country years ago, claiming the right to live. They are now only 33 kilometres from the end of their journey and will try to cross the border by any means necessary to reach their destination, England.

Biographie du réalisateur :
Après 5 années d’études dont 3 orientées sur le cinéma et plus particulièrement la réalisation à l’Institut Internationale de l’Image et du Son (3iS). Victor Ohmer propose aujourd'hui son premier court-métrage sur un sujet engagé : La situation des réfugiés à Calais. S’étant longtemps interrogé sur ce qu’il avait à raconter c’est la vie des autres qu’il a choisi de montrer. Il a voulu faire un film qui n’émet pas de jugement, mais qui montre et interroge.
Director's biography:
After 5 years of studies, including 3 in cinema and more particularly in directing at the International Institute of Image and Sound (3iS). Victor Ohmer now presents his first short film on a committed topic : The situation of refugees in Calais, France. He questionned for a long time what he wanted to say, and finally chose to talk about the lives of others. He didn’t want to make a judgemental film, but just ask some rightful questions.
