The Madras High Court has removed the Chief Sthapathi, or temple architect, of Tamil Nadu, Mr. M. Muthiah, from the Heritage Temple Renovation Committee. This man was tasked with restoring temples in the state. But instead, he is accused of stealing gold from them. Trying to replace original idols with new ones. And trying to smuggle out the original idols for auctions abroad. How much more wicked can it get.
