Jammu and Kashmir liberation front Chief Yasin Malik was detained from his residence in Srinagar. Malik was arrested from his residence and lodged at Kothibagh police station. The detentions come in the wake of a protest shutdown called by the joint resistance leadership against continuous civilian killings in the valley.
