U.S. military sends 100 caskets to inter-Korean border to repatriate remains of U.S. soldiers

Work continues to repatriate from North Korea... the remains of American soldiers killed in the Korean War.
On Saturday, U.S. Forces Korea confirmed that one hundred temporary wooden caskets were sent to the inter-Korean border to hold their remains... as they're handed over in the next few days.
The U.S. military sent United Nations flags along with the caskets.
The soldiers' remains will be sent to Osan Air Base and transferred to metal caskets before being returned to the U.S.
The repatriation of the remains was one of the key pledges made in the June 12th declaration that was signed by U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un after their summit in Singapore earlier this month.
