Crossing the Tagus River from Spain to Portugal - Portugal Holidays
  • 6 years ago
We traveled from Spain to Portugal and crossed the Tagus River. The Tagus is the longest river in the Iberian Peninsula. It runs along the border between Portugal and Spain and through to the Atlantic Ocean near Lisbon. The Tagus provides water for farmlands, and supplies to several dams for the supply of drinking water. There are also dozens of hydroelectric stations to create power.
