Uber's Safety Driver Was Streaming TV During Fatal Crash

The safety driver of a self-driving Uber car in Arizona was streaming a TV show at the time of her fatal crash.
Reuters reports that a police report deemed the March 18 incident “entirely avoidable.”
The Tempe Police Department said the driver, Rafaela Vasquez, hit Elaine Herzberg, 49, at night.
Vasquez could face charges of vehicular manslaughter.
The Uber car was in autonomous mode at the time of the crash.
