Taken from Sonny’s UK dance top 5 album Frequently Flying released late in 2016, ‘Always Gonna Be’ now finally has its own release along with remixes from Mat.Joe and Low Steppa. The track has become one of the most requested when Sonny plays out, with fans singing Alex Mills’ soulful chorus back at him at his gigs around the globe.
Following Sonny’s own ‘Extended Mix’, Low Steppa lends his intelligent production style to the track with a typically explosive mix, making the bass work harder but leaving the super-sweet hook untouched. Berlin duo Mat.Joe introduce some more flavours, letting the extended funk-influenced riff play out before bringing the vocal in for maximum impact. This remix pack is the first chance to sample forthcoming album Frequently Flying (Deluxe Edition) which will include many more extended mixes and exclusives, giving this stunning album a new lease of life.
