A standout record of 2004, ‘Time & Time Again’ was one of several collaborations between Major Boys and ubiquitous house vocalist Kathy Brown. Vibey guitar riffs and disco-esque vocal harmonies left ‘Time & Time Again’ wide open for reinterpretation, so stepping up for remixing duties was Junior Jack, Hott 22, Lee Cabrera and Larock, all of which are included in this re-release, along with the original.
Junior Jack goes to his signature direct-to-dancefloor house style, doing away with the disco nuances of the original for a more upfront approach. Hott 22 introduces additional percussion and a more pronounced build, while Lee Cabrera lets Kathy’s vocal take the spotlight and Yves Larock goes big with expansive synths.
