Going into the second day of his Russia trip,... President Moon will sit down with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin later today.
It's the first time in 19 years for a South Korean leader to meet with a Russian leader at the Kremlin.
According to the Blue House,... the summit will likely focus on strengthening friendship and trust between the two leaders... and thereby expanding Seoul's practical cooperation with Russia.
It will also be an opportunity for the two countries to reinforce bilateral strategic communication and collaboration in the process of building peace on the Peninsula.
A joint press conference will take place afterwards,... which will then be followed by a state dinner in honor of President Moon's visit.
Before the bilateral summit..., the president will attend a South Korea-Russia Business Forum in which he will promote economic cooperation to business leaders from both countries.
