A key part of the peace agreement in Colombia is at risk, after disagreements in Congress. The Lower House of Congress passed the bill on the Special Jurisdiction for Peace, as requested by the outgoing president, Juan Manuel Santos. However, the Senate postponed its discussion and vote, as demanded by the president-elect Ivan Duque.
