There is a fairy tale legend that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome. Based on literature, the Trevi Fountain is designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini. This place is certainly recommended for a visit if you are in Rome.
