President Moon Jae-in is heading to Moscow as we speak for a three-day state visit to Russia... at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
This is the first time a sitting South Korean President to make an official state visit to the Kremlin in 19 years.
During his stay, President Moon will deliver a speech at the State Duma, the lower house of Russia's Federal Assembly, becoming the first South Korean president to do so.
He will also hold a summit with President Putin and attend a dinner banquet, and the two leaders will reaffirm their commitment to developing future-oriented bilateral relations.
After wrapping up his itinerary in the Russian capital, President Moon will fly to Rostov-On-Don to cheer on South Korea in their World Cup match against Mexico.
