Let's take a quick update on the FIFA world cup. In yesterday's match, Croatia beat Nigeria in a thrilling 2-0. Etebo sent Nigeria back by scoring a goal in the 32nd minute, while Luka Modric furthered Croatia's cause by scoring a fantastic penalty in the 71st minute. In the second game, Mexico stunned Germany 1-0, pulling off what can easily be this World cup's biggest upset till now. Germany was defeated by a 35th minute winner from winger Hirving Lozano. Mexico turned out to be more dangerous of the two sides, with swift counter attacks, but couldn't extend their lead. The late night match between Brazil and Switzerland also ended in a one-all draw despite a brilliant goal from Brazil and Barcelona Winger Coutinho, but Brazil switched off for a second in the defence allowing Mexico's Steven Zuber to capitalise and score the equaliser.
