President Trump spoke about his North Korea summit and its impact in a video message posted Friday.

Donald Trump asserted that the world is a safer place now than in the days before his presidency.
He made that remark in a video message on Friday while discussing his June 12 summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
"At the conclusion of the summit, we signed a joint statement in which Chairman Kim 'reaffirmed' his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula," Trump said. "This is the beginning of the process toward the denuclearization of North Korea."
"The people of Asia feel safe and right now, the people from all over the world feel much safer than the days before I was president," Trump added. "We are doing a good job. We're working very hard and we're going to produce. It's all going to happen."
Days ago, Trump raised some eyebrows when he tweeted that North Korea is "no longer a nuclear threat."
"Before taking office people were assuming that we were going to War with North Korea. President Obama said that North Korea was our biggest and most dangerous problem. No longer - sleep well tonight!" Trump stated in another tweet on Wednesday.
"He made his claims even though North Korea has not given up any of its nuclear warheads or missiles, nor dismantled any of its 141 known sites devoted to the production or use of weapons of mass destruction other than blowing up a test site," the New York Times noted.
