During an award acceptance speech on Wednesday, Brie Larson called for greater diversity in film critics. The speech was delivered at The 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards in Los Angeles. Larson's demands were based on a new report that found the majority of film critics are white men, reports BuzzFeed. The study was conducted by the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative. According to the study, white film critics wrote 82% of reviews of the top 100 films in 2017.
