Scientists Identify Protein For Syphilis Vaccine

According to UPI, a study from the University of Connecticut identified a protein on the outside of the bacteria that causes syphilis, which may be used as a vaccine.
Although the bacteria, T. pallidum, was identified over a century ago, research to identified it's outer proteins is new.
