Trump Says He Talked To Kim Jong Un About Having 'Best Hotels' On North Korea's 'Great Beaches'

President Trump on Tuesday shared details about his discussions with Kim Jong Un.

President Trump revealed during a Tuesday press briefing that he talked to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un about the possibility of filling North Korea's "great beaches" with the "best hotels." The statement came after a question about a video showing the prosperity North Korea could enjoy if Kim agrees to give up his weapons.  Trump described it as, "a version of what could happen," and commented, in part, "they have great beaches. You see that whenever they're exploding their cannons into the ocean, right? I said, 'Boy, look at the view. Wouldn't that make a great condo behind?'" "And I explained, I said, 'You know, instead of doing that, you could have the best hotels in the world right there,'" Trump further noted. "Think of it from a real estate perspective. You have South Korea, you have China, and they own the land in the middle. How bad is that, right?"  Trump and Kim met in Singapore on Tuesday to discuss the potential denuclearization of North Korea.  At the gathering's end, both Trump and Kim signed a document pledging to continue to work toward that goal, reports CNN.
