A high level meet was held in the home ministry today to discuss removal of malicious content from various social networking sites posted by keypad jihadis. The term has been coined for miscreants who spew venom on Internet with intent to create a law & order situation by spreading rumours or giving communal colour to any event. The meeting was chaired by Union home secretary and other officials from the ministry of telecom & security agencies. Effective measures to be taken by law enforcement agencies to tackle security challenges being posed by terrorists using social media platforms were discussed today.
