வட கிழக்கு மாநிலங்களில் அடுத்த 48 மணி நேரங்களில் கன மழை பெய்ய கூடும் என்று இந்திய வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் எச்சரித்துள்ளது. இதுபற்றி இன்று இந்திய வானிலை மையம் வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்திக்குறிப்பு: சட்டீஸ்கர், அசாம், மேகாலயா, நாகாலாந்து, மணிப்பூர், மிசோராம் மற்றும் திரிபுரா மாநிலங்களில் அடுத்த 48 மணி நேரங்களில், கன அல்லது மிக கனமழை பெய்ய கூடும்.

Ongoing monsoon will progress normally during the next two days, but then there will be 'pause' for a week from Thursday onwards. It will, however, not affect the normal date of onset of monsoon in Delhi. The IMD has issued a 48-hour warning of 'enhanced rainfall' in the northeastern states during this period.
