At "Il Torchio" the antique Florentine artisan tradition of bookbinding is continued by creating beautifully crafted products as well as preserving old treasures.
For over 30 years this shop has been located amongst the artisan workshops of the Oltrarno. Just a stone's throw away from the Ponte Vecchio, items such as photo albums, photo frames, agendas, stationary, journals and book covers can be found and are made on site. Owner, Erin Ciulla, crafts her pieces out of carefully selected materials such as Florentine leather and hand marbled paper, canvas and even hand-made paper!
