Prime Minister Narendra Modi shook hands with Pakistan's President Mamnoon Hussain in the Chinese city of Qingdao during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit even as relations between the two neighbours remain frosty. The two were also seen briefly talking to each other on June 10 at the end of the media briefing by the leaders of the SCO member states. This was the first time Modi and Hussain attended the summit as the two countries were admitted to the Beijing-based organisation last year. India has repeatedly raised the issue of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism at various multilateral fora.
