PRESENTED BY CROW

Charlie Rogers has brought an end to the quandary over where Contemporary Country ends and Pop begins. The bold Nashville-based artist embraces aspects from both genres with his distinct ability to tell a story through charming lyricism and textured musicality. “I always strive for something that is uniquely me. Something that transcends genres. I know, especially in country music, there is a lot of hate over that- many country fans are purists- but I think we live in such a globalized world where cultures are starting to spill over into one another that I believe music should do the same”, entrusts Rogers.

Raised in Stilwell, Kansas, Charlie Rogers’ greatest musical influences date back to the artists his family played for him throughout his childhood. The Beatles and The Eagles, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, and Lady Antebellum- it was evident there was no looking back for Rogers once he ventured into playing music of his own. In 2010, his undeniable love for writing and performing led him to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he secured a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Vocal Performance. Since, Charlie Rogers has toured with Janelle Arthur (American Idol), opened for Brothers Osborne, performed with Ricky Skaggs, sang at the IEBA S.R.O. Awards for Charley Pride, and played a show with Russell Dickerson and Jordan Kyle Reynolds.
