Anthony Bourdain Found Dead at 61 CNN confirmed the celebrity chef and TV personality was found dead of an apparent suicide in a hotel room in Strasbourg, France, where he was working on a shoot for his series, ‘Parts Unknown.’ It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain, His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller.
