According to a report by CNN, Kate Spade's apparent suicide is the latest in a series of tragic and troubling cases of high-profile fashion designers who have hanged themselves. Designer Alexander McQueen hanged himself in his London apartment in February 2010. Just four years later, L'Wren Scott was found dead in her New York apartment in March of 2014, hanging from a door knob with a scarf around her neck.
