Report: Jeanine Pirro Wants To Be Trump's Attorney General

According to Politico, Jeanine Pirro wants to be President Trump's attorney general.

Fox News Host Judge Jeanine Pirro has reportedly expressed an interest in becoming President Trump's attorney general.
"A former prosecutor and judge, Pirro has repeatedly told Trump's aides and advisers over the past 18 months that she's interested in taking over as the nation's top law enforcement official, according to four people familiar with the conversations," notes Politico.
The coverage on her show is usually in favor of Trump, and she's known to lash out at the president's critics. Her upcoming book is titled, "Liars, Leakers, and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy."
Politico's report comes as Trump continues to publicly slam his current attorney general, Jeff Sessions, over his recusal from the Russia probe.
"The Russian Witch Hunt Hoax continues, all because Jeff Sessions didn't tell me he was going to recuse himself...I would have quickly picked someone else. So much time and money wasted, so many lives ruined...and Sessions knew better than most that there was No Collusion!" Trump tweeted on Tuesday.
Days ago, a New York Times piece shed light on the president's reaction after learning about Sessions' recusal in March of last year.
"The president objected to his decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation. Mr. Trump, who had told aides that he needed a loyalist overseeing the inquiry, berated Mr. Sessions and told him he should reverse his decision, an unusual and potentially inappropriate request," the Times noted.
However, Sessions refused to change his decision.
Politico notes, while "Trump has dangled the possibility of giving [Pirro] a top appointment," White House aides say "the president is not seriously considering bringing Pirro on to replace" Sessions.
