Carrie Underwood Makes CMT Awards History The “Before He Cheats” singer is now the most decorated artist in the history of the CMT Awards after she took home Female Video of the Year. Carrie took home her 18th win for her collaboration with Ludacris on “The Champion,” which served as the opening theme for televised broadcast of Super Bowl LII. First and foremost, thank you God from all of us who are lucky enough to sit over here and do what we get to do. Thank you to the fans. Thank you, Ludacris, for wanting to inspire.
