Maryland Gubernatorial Candidate Taunts Trump in Campaign Ad With Same-Sex Kiss

A Democratic candidate for the Maryland governorship, Richard Madaleno, has released a campaign video in which he lists things he had done to “infuriate” President Trump and which he ends by kissing his husband and saying: “Take that, Trump.”Victory Fund, a political action committee that helps to elect openly LGBTQ candidates who are running for office, described the video as being the “first political ad in American history to feature a kiss between a candidate and a same-sex spouse.”The Washington Post said that the ad was planned to be first aired in the DC area on June 7, during Fox & Friends, which Trump is known to watch.
