A New Jersey State Trooper working in Kingwood Township recently pulled a man over, and it turned out to be the police officer who delivered him almost 3 decades ago.

A New Jersey State Trooper working in Kingwood Township recently pulled a man over, but what happened next was anything but routine.  The two got to talking, and it turned out the man, a retired police officer named Matthew Bailly, used to work in the trooper's hometown.  Their conversation got narrowed down to the street where the trooper grew up, and Bailly said that in his early days with the force he delivered a baby in that area.  The New Jersey State Police writes in a Facebook post on Wednesday, "He was even able to describe the color, style of house, and the baby's name, Michael. Trooper Patterson extended his hand and replied, 'My name is Michael Patterson, sir. Thank you for delivering me.'"  According to the post, the reunion didn't stop there.  Patterson and his mother soon after visited Bailly at his home and "both of their families were ecstatic" about meeting once again.
