Netflix Orders Anthology Series About Dolly Parton

The Huffington Post reports that Dolly Parton is getting a scripted anthology TV series with Netflix. Each episode of the eight-part series will follow a song by the country singer. Parton will also star in the series and serve as singer-songwriter and executive producer. The "Coat of Many Colors" singer issued a statement saying, “I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favorite songs to life with Netflix." The series is currently untitled and a release date hasn't been announced yet.
