Time running out for Korean separated families despite hopes for reunion

Oh, so they are saying that even if there are more opportunities for the families to reunite, many people won't be around in a few years to come to reunions...

Right, Ji-yoon, I talked to the Korean Red Cross, which organizes separated family reunions, and they say that since 2016 the number of those registered who had passed away began to outnumber those who were still alive.
They said that on average, roughly 400 members of the separated families pass away each month, but more recently, it’s been 700, sometimes up to a thousand.
So the time is really running out for them.
