The death toll from Guatemala's volcanic eruption rose to 33 people on June 4, according to media reports.

In the video, rescuer Jorge Luis Altuve talks about the pyroplastic material falling from the sky after the eruption.

"It isn't hail that is falling from the sky at the moment. It is pyroplastic material of the Volcán de Fuego, they're rather big pieces. They actually hurt,” Altuve says, according to a translation by Euronews.
