Trump Says Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Appointment Was 'Totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL!'

President Trump on Monday again slammed special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe.

President Trump on Monday again slammed special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russia's interference in US elections.
"The appointment of the Special Councel [sic] is totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Despite that, we play the game because I, unlike the Democrats, have done nothing wrong!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
Minutes prior, he repeated his attorney Rudy Giuliani's recent claim that the president can pardon himself.
"As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong? In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!" Trump stated in a tweet.
This is not the first time he's dismissed the Russia probe as a "witch hunt."
"Despite the disgusting, illegal and unwarranted Witch Hunt, we have had the most successful first 17 month Administration in U.S. history - by far! Sorry to the Fake News Media and 'Haters,' but that's the way it is!" Trump tweeted last month.
His remarks come weeks after the Senate Intelligence Committee leaders said in a joint statement that the panel agrees with the U.S. intelligence community's assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election "for the purpose of helping Donald Trump and hurting Hillary Clinton."
