Coding With Python :: Learn API Basics to Grab Data with Python\r

This is a basic introduction to using APIs. APIs are the glue that keep a lot of web applications running and thriving. Without APIs much of the internet services you love might not even exist!\r

APIs are easy way to connect with other websites & web services to use their data to make your site or application even better. This simple tutorial gives you the basics of how you can access this data and use it. If you want to know if a website has an api, just search Facebook API or Twitter API or Foursquare API on google. Some APIs are easy to use (like Locus API which we use in this video) some are more complicated (Facebooks API is more complicated than Locus). More about APIs: \r
